I then decided to check the tasklist, and saw that i was running 17% of my memory. From just having one chrome tap open it seemed like there was alot of memory spent there for no... WebYes, this is completely normal. Windows 10 has a feature called "Prefetch" and "Superfetch" that loads your most used apps into RAM so they can open much faster. If you need that RAM, Windows 10 will release it, so don't worry – you're not permanently down 7GB that you can't use. It'll be free if you need it.
