WebThis program pairs high school students with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities in one-to-one friendships with their non-disabled peers. By introducing the program into public and private high schools, we are crossing the invisible line that too often separates those with disabilities from those without. WebDescription: The mission of Best Buddies is to provide an opportunity for one-on-one friendships and integrated employment for persons with disabilities. We do this at the high school level by matching non-disabled high school students in one-on-one friendships with high school students with developmental disabilities.
